Shenzhen Office of China Everbright International Limited ("Shenzhen
Office") was established in February 2002, with the approval of the Shenzhen
Economic Cooperation Authority. Its duty is to assist China Everbright International
Limited ("Everbright International") with all of its investment
and management activities in the mainland China, including the supervision
and management of the subsidiary companies, the communications with the clients
or related parties, the development and training of human resources as well
as the provision of information services such as management and technological
consultancy for the relevant investment projects in the mainland China. It
also conducts feature research to help develop the business of Everbright
International. Instructed by Everbright International, the Shenzhen Office
is responsible for expanding the business in the Mainland market, nurturing
the growth of the business as well as exploring and developing urban water
provision, sewage and waste treatment, and investments projects and business
potentials in related areas. The goal is to highlight the core business of
Everbright International and to help Everbright International to become one
of the leading corporations in the environmental protection industry with
continuous competitiveness.
