A Pioneer in China in Fully Deploying Domestically Manufactured Waste-to-energy Equipment
Environmental Business Secures Support from Central Government Again
Zhenjiang Project is a pioneer project of the Group in that it fully deploys domestically manufactured waste-to-energy equipment and it is the first waste-to-energy project of the group to receive a subsidy from the Central Government. This success demonstrates the pursuant of the Group's core value 'An enterprise is not only the creator of wealth, but also the safeguard of environmental and social responsibility' has been fully recognized by the Government.
This is the second subsidy received by the Group from the NDRC following its Changzhou Equipment Manufacturing Project. This capital infusion not only gives impetus to the Group but also clearly demonstrates that the achievements of Everbright International in the environmental protection and the fulfillments of its responsibility to the society have gained recognition from the Government. With abundant capital on hand and the opportunities arising from the encouragement of waste-to-energy in relation to the "Notice of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan of the State Environmental Protection", Everbright International will continue to construct, operate and manage all its projects using clean technologies to reduce solid wastes in China and transform the wastes into energy.
