Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee conducts a site visit to Ningbo Beilun Waste-to-energy Project

Mr. Xia Baolong, Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, conducted a site visit to Ningbo Beilun Waste-to-energy Project ("Ningbo Project") of China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International") on 20 August. Ningbo Project commenced commercial operation in January of this year. Its gas emission complies with the Euro 2000 Standard and its leachate discharge meets China's national Grade 1 standard, realizing the target of Complete Reuse and Nil Discharge. Environmental data of the Ningbo Project is transmitted in real-time to a network of environmental protection departments in Beilun District and Ningbo City. LED display screen has also been installed outside the plant to provide instant air emission data to the nearby public.

Mr. Xia appreciated Everbright International's contributions to the environmental protection industry in Ningbo and commended its first-class waste-to-energy plant, affirming Everbright International's leading position in the industry. He looked forward to Everbright International continuing to promote its high quality construction, management experience and advanced technology in other cities of Zhejiang Province, and further contributing to the ecological development of Zhejiang Province.
