Everbright Water Wins Tender for Ji'nan Xike WWT Project (Plant 4) Phase II

Singapore, 29 December 2015 - China Everbright Water Limited ("Everbright Water" or the "Company", SGX: U9E) (中国光大水务有限公司), an environmental protection company focusing on integrated environmental water services, is pleased to announce that it has won the tender for the Ji'nan Xike Waste Water Treatment Project (Plant 4) ("Ji'nan Xike WWT Project" or the "Project") Phase II with the highest ranking in the overall score rating.

Following the rising population in west Ji'nan, Ji'nan Xike WWT Project Phase I (located near Ji'nan West Railway Station) has reached its full operational capacity. To address the issue of increasing domestic waste water faced by that area, Ji'nan Municipal Government has invited bids for the Project Phase II. Project Phase II has a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 70,000 m3 and will be constructed on a Build-Operate-Transfer ("BOT") basis. The total investment for Project Phase II is approximately RMB240 million and the water discharge will comply with the national Grade 1A standard.

Mr. Wang Tianyi, Executive Director & Chairman of Everbright Water, said: "Everbright Water set foot in Shandong Province's environmental protection industry as early as 2007. Currently, the total designed capacity of waste water treatment projects invested and operated by Everbright Water in Ji'nan reaches 880,000 m3 per day, which represents more than 90% of the total waste water volume in the city. Cooperating once again with the Ji'nan Municipal Government is of great significance to the Company's plans to expand and strengthen our foothold in Ji'nan as well as in Shandong Province."
