Everbright Water's Project Construction Progressed Smoothly
Multiple Projects Commenced or Completed Construction by Year End

Singapore, 27 December 2017 – China Everbright Water Limited ("Everbright Water" or the "Company", SGX: U9E) (中国光大水务有限公司), an environmental protection company focusing on integrated environmental water services, is pleased to announce that multiple projects of the Company commenced or completed construction in the fourth quarter of 2017.

In terms of commencement of construction works, the Company's first water supply project, Shandong Ji'nan Zhangqiu Urban-Rural Integration Water Supply Project, started the construction of its first sub-project. This demonstrates a good start to commence the construction works for the upcoming sub-projects. In addition, Ji'nan Huashan Waste Water Treatment Project and Ju County Chengbei Waste Water Treatment Project Upgrading in Shandong Province commenced construction in succession and are making good progress.

In respect of completion of construction works, several waste water treatment upgrading projects completed construction in accordance with the plans. These projects include Binzhou Development Zone Waste Water Treatment Project Phase I Upgrading ("Binzhou Project Upgrading") in Shandong Province; Lvshun Bailanzi Waste Water Treatment Project Upgrading ("Lvshun Project Upgrading"), Dalian Quanshui Waste Water Treatment Project Upgrading ("Quanshui Project Upgrading"), and Dalian Chunliuhe Waste Water Treatment Project Phase II Upgrading ("Chunliuhe Project Phase II Upgrading") in Liaoning Province.

Binzhou Project Upgrading, which commenced construction in September 2017, commands an investment of approximately RMB27 million. With a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 40,000 tonnes, its water discharge fully complies with the national Grade 1A standard, upgraded from the national Grade 1B standard. Lvshun Project Upgrading, which commenced construction in April 2017, commands an investment of approximately RMB42 million. It has a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 30,000 tonnes. The water discharge of the project fully complies with the national Grade 1A standard, upgraded from national Grade 1B standard. Quanshui Project Upgrading started construction at the beginning of this year and commands an investment of approximately RMB49 million. It has a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 35,000 tonnes. Its water discharge fully complies with the national Grade 1A discharge standard, upgraded from the national Grade 1B discharge standard. Lastly, Chunliuhe Project Phase II Upgrading, which commenced construction in January 2017, commands an investment of approximately RMB145 million, with a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 120,000 tonnes. Its water discharge has been upgraded from the national Grade 1B standard to the national Grade 1A standard.

In 2017, the Company has 11 projects that commenced construction and 13 projects that completed construction.
