Everbright International CEO Wang Tianyi Awarded "Asia's Best CEO", with Everbright International Receiving Recognitions of "Best Environmental Responsibility" and "Best Investor Relations Company"


28 June 2019, Hong Kong – Mr. Wang Tianyi, CEO of China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group"), has been awarded Asia's Best CEO by Corporate Governance Asia in the Ninth Asian Excellence Awards 2019, in recognition of his excellent managerial talents and the effectiveness on operations. This has been the second time that he received such award in 2018. In the meantime, Everbright International has won two awards, namely "Best Environmental Responsibility" and "Best Investor Relations Company", for the Group's outstanding performance in corporate governance, investor relations, environmental management, among others.

The Ninth Asian Excellence Awards 2019 is committed to honoring companies and individuals that demonstrate a high standard of corporate governance practices, and in turn set the standard and role models of corporate governance in Asia. After strict assessment for the award, a total of 51 CEOs from companies in the region were recognised as the best CEOs of Asia, including nine business leaders from well-known Chinese enterprises, such as Everbright International, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Overseas Land and Investment, China Communications Services Corporation, Cosco Shipping Ports, CNOOC, China Resources Beer and Guotai Junan; and 42 awardees from renowned Asian enterprises, such as Far East Consortium, New World Development, Melco International, Fubon Financial Holdings, DBS Group, BDO and Petronas Chemicals.
